God calls all His children to be co-workers with Him in the building of His kingdom. (Mk. 16:15) He calls some to "go!" and serve in full-time ministry, commanding that those who preach the gospel in this way should receive their living from it (1 Cor. 9:14). He raises others to support those full-timers, blessing them with an abundance of wealth so that they can be generous in this way. (2 Cor. 9:11)

We are currently engaged in several projects as we continue the work of building Refúgio and prepare to receive people for counseling, discipleship, and training:

1. •Planning and construction of guest housing
   

2. •Finishing construction on the library/offices
   

3. •Planning for the construction of worker housing

Here are some of our most pressing financial needs:

1. •Our monthly support income is below what we need to survive (let alone spend on ministry). We have been blessed by David’s parents’ hospitality, but we won’t be able to stay here forever, and we don’t want to abuse their kindness.
   

2. •We need a rugged vehicle for making the trek to and from Refúgio. Several of the roads still need paving (a future prayer request!) and it can be quite rough on cars that are not prepared for it. In the meantime we are (carefully) using David’s mother’s car to go back and forth.
